If you love Franconian cuisine with large portions of meat, this is the place for you. We enjoyed it very much - here there is it is very good quality for little money. The inn looks a bit old, but we are due to the good food and the beautiful surroundings come by often ...

We were today 11.10.2020 family Gügel. The food was super delicious potato salad made the same, Schöfela, and the salad super delicious I'll be back. ..

The mixed roast and the knuckle were extremely tasty and plentiful. Beer tastes good, a smile from the host would have given 5 stars.

Today on September 10th we ate and drank here very tasty and talked to the host. Thank you that it still exists! Inexpensive and good quality. It is still lived here. Incidentally, also organized in an exemplary manner when it comes to Corona!

The food is good, but the host is clearly stressed and rude. You only go there once. It was not the guest who ordered the current situation.

Great food, very good trout, very good schnitzel. 5 stars for it. 2 star deduction because of an extremely unfriendly host. So, beautiful surroundings, huge parking lot, good food and fast, you just have to ignore the rest.

Extremely unfriendly. We waited a minimum of 10 minutes until the waiter / owner even wanted to take notice of us. Two more couples left after us. The couple in front of us were insulted. Definitely not recommended. And then it is said that a lockdown harms the restaurateurs. This one does that very well himself.

Unfortunately, we didn't even get to dinner. We wanted to park, climb and then eat. Our parking request was negative. We were "instructed" very loudly across the parking lot that in the event of abuse, the police and towing service would go into action. Very uncomfortable for four families with children!

The four of us had a very good lunch. Very friendly and above all very tasty. Exemplary how the hygiene rules are observed here! The area is also great for hiking.

Unfortunately, we cannot join the previous speakers. After the tense corona time, the operation was visibly overwhelmed when we arrived at 8 with our DAV team. We were received and distributed very unfriendly and inflexible. Unfortunately, the food was very bad for an economy in Franconian Switzerland. You may have had to fire the chef, but the trout was small and unseasoned, the sausages from the deep fryer! The potato salad inedible, I guess supermarket. I know so many restaurants in the Franconian, I would give advice, continue to Egglofstein! 2 km worth it, too bad!

We always like to come to eat. The food is very good! Whether roast pork, duck or cordon bleu, we drive from Fürth to Mostviel because everyone in the family likes the food here. We were always served friendly and never had to wait long for the food. We find the prices for the dishes great. We were only with our relatives for lunch today and they too were thrilled. So for us simply a great restaurant in Franconian Switzerland

Very good Franconian dishes, friendly service - everything was great! The dishes can be pre-ordered to go and are ready on time, freshly prepared.

Food OK, staff very rude! If you work in the catering trade and are not aware of being friendly to your guests as a service provider, you should rather work in a different environment. No PLEASE, no THANKS, no question whether it tasted good. There were enough cheeky answers with incompetent behavior. Once, never again !!!

Always good and delicious food here

By own butchery above average food. Something 60/70-years flair and Franconian "friendly" service. Value for money unbeatable

Coffee and cake great, but something has to be invested. The chairs and tablecloths for example. have the best years behind them. And the service, I suppose it was the boss, could put on a smile every now and then :-)

We were in this restaurant for the first and last time today ... Coming from Egloffstein on a circular hiking trail, we are hungry and thirsty. A large sign promised warm food throughout. When we ordered a shovel and dumpling with sauce, we got to hear from the underground bad-tempered waiter (or innkeeper): "We don't make a pot for dumplings". And that I'm the Schäuferle with fries !!! or potato salad ... Then you prefer schnitzel, from the deep fryer, well greasy but completely ok. But the worst was really the waiter, who was very rude to all guests and looked totally annoyed. Another family got too stupid to wait because they weren't even asked what they wanted to drink. When they were leaving, he called after them through the beer garden: "We have nothing more anyway". It just doesn't work. You are a service provider, even if you are far out in the country! ... and if you want to tip, you have to be friendly ...

Delicious food and good selection. The prices are cheap. The service is a bit messy.
